Terms and Conditions
These terms set out the rules for a stay at Villa Cella and identify who runs the property. They do not replace what is agreed in writing for each booking.

What this website is
This website presents the villa. It does not conclude bookings and takes no payment. An enquiry sent from here opens a conversation; a booking exists only once it has been confirmed in writing.
Booking, payment and cancellation
Payment terms, any deposit, cancellation deadlines and any security deposit are those confirmed in writing at the time of each booking. Where a booking is made through a platform, that platform's terms apply.
Accommodation contracts for a specific date are excluded from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal, under article 17(1)(k) of Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 of 14 February.
Occupancy
The villa is let whole, to one party at a time. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the maximum occupancy is 6 people. That limit may not be exceeded, including by visitors who do not stay the night, without prior written agreement.
Arrival and departure
Arrival is between 16:30 and 17:30, and departure between 11:00 and 12:00. Different times can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
House rules
Smoking indoors is not allowed, parties and events are not allowed, and pets are not accepted. Quiet hours run from 23:00 to 07:00, out of respect for the neighbours.
Pool and hot tub
The pool and hot tub are unsupervised. Their use is entirely at guests' own risk, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The hot tub's heating is off from October to April. The tub remains available during that period, but the water is not heated. The pool has no seasonal restriction.
Damage and liability
Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the building, its contents or the grounds during the stay. Please report any damage or fault as soon as it is noticed.
Parking and internet
Private parking and an internet connection are provided at no extra cost. The internet depends on the local network, and no particular speed or continuous availability is guaranteed.
Website content
The text, marks and photographs of the house shown on this website belong to those who run the property and may not be reproduced without permission. Photographs credited with an author and a licence belong to their authors and are governed by that licence.
Complaints and disputes
A complaint can be made through the contact details above or through the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book. The competent alternative dispute resolution bodies are named on their own page.
Personal data
The handling of personal data is described in a document of its own.
Governing law
The stay is governed by Portuguese law. Nothing in these terms removes the rights the law gives a consumer, including the right to turn to the alternative dispute resolution bodies.
Changes
These terms may be revised. The version that applies to a stay is the one in force when the booking was confirmed, and the date of the last revision appears at the top of this page.
